Soulfolk Summer News

Soulfolk's summer is shaping up with some exciting developments, both in NorCal and SoCal.

Let's start with the "discovery" of Soulfolk by a wonderful San Francisco booking agency, Entire Productions.  This agency, run by Natasha Miller, represents some of the most talented and eclectic live performers in the Bay Area and beyond.  We are proud to be the newest addition to their talent roster.  We can thank Entire Productions for adding us to the lineup of the Oakland City Center Fall Concert Series, and we look forward to many more exciting gigs as a result of our relationship with Natasha and her team.

Also in NorCal news, Soulfolk has been asked to become regular performers at a very special "new" (but wondferfully historic) venue.  The 1400 Bar & Grill occupies a vital commercial corner in Alameda, in a gorgeous old building that has housed some of the area's most popular restaurants since 1883.  For those of you who haven't yet visited Alameda, it is a very special enclave known as "the Island City"—sitting quite literally in San Francisco Bay between Oakland and SF (near the eastern end of the Bay Bridge).  Worth a visit for many reasons, not the least of which is the greatest per-capita concentration of Victorian-era homes anywhere in the USA.  And 1400 is one more great reason to make the trip and discover Alameda.  Watch the Soulfolk calendar for our upcoming dates at the 1400.

And, of course, let's not forget our friends and fans in SoCal!  Soulfolk will make the trek south for one very special OC appearanace at Laguna's Lumberyard Restaurant on July 9.  The Soulfolk calendar has all the details, and we hope to see you there.
